On Friday, Year 5 visited Kelham Island in Sheffield to support their learning about the industrial revolution.
The children had fun learning about the different roles in the steel making industry, enjoyed hearing the story of Harry Brearley and his making of rustless steel and loved watching the most powerful working steam engine in action
The children were an absolute credit to our school with a number of members of the public commenting on their vast knowledge but also their impeccable behaviour. 👏
What a fantastic day! Well done Year 5! 😄
