Y6 Science Experiements

In Science, Y6 have been testing Charles Darwin’s theory of evolution. He found that the birds on the Galápagos Islands all had beaks that were slightly different. 

This is because it suits the food that they had readily available to them. Some birds only had small beaks and didn’t survive the winter when only bigger seeds were around.
 
We tested different ‘beaks’ and how well they picked up different sized seeds! 🐧🐦
